This position is currently located in Van Nuys, but will relocate to Glendale; moving expenses will not be paid. Under general direction, the Tax Technician III Cashier performs the full range of cashiering duties and is responsible for the overall operation of a district/branch cashier’s office as well as the most difficult and complex technical duties. This includes, but is not limited to, processing, verifying and balancing all monies received, preparing transmittal documents, headquarters transmittals and bank deposits. Responsible for controlling press-numbered accountable forms and maintains the keeper warrant log. Training requirements for this position may require overnight travel for up to five consecutive nights. This position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted. The incumbent will receive an additional $100.00 per month pay differential. This position is located in a high-rise building. All applicants will be considered, however SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
