The reporting location for this position is the Orange Coast District Office in San Clemente. This position will work under the direction of the District Administrative Officer II (AOII). The Management Services Technician (MST) is responsible for a full range of technical and analytical accounting duties associated with a large and complex field operation, Including daily analysis and review of expenditure tracking, reconciliation and encumbrance processes, entering monthly expenditure and coding data, and serving as the District’s point of contact for public works and service contract bid packages. This position requires strong communication skills, and must establish and maintain a strong professional working relationship with vendors and Department Staff. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows programs (i.e. Excel, Access, and Word) is very desirable. State housing is not available.
