To be eligible, you must meet the minimum qualifications established by the Department of Human Resources AND either be currently eligible or eligible for reinstatement as a PC 830.2, California State Peace Officer. The reporting location for this position is the District Office located in Petaluma. This position will work under the direction of the District Superintendent. The incumbent will be responsible for assisting the District Superintendent in the oversight of the entire district and its many functions. The position requires the interaction with local cities and counties, park districts, community groups, land trusts, volunteer groups, park operators, and associations, and will assist the park partners liaison. Additionally this position serves as the Sector Superintendent for the Silverado Sector. This is a challenging position that is best suited for a highly energetic, positive individual. State housing may be available. This position may be downgraded for recruitment purposes.
