The reporting location for this position is Patrick’s Point State Park. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to be an active member of a team in a large park operation that includes Patrick’s Point State Park, Trinidad State Beach, Humboldt Lagoons, and may include temporary assignments to Prairie Creek Redwoods State park, Gold Bluffs Beach, Del Norte Coast Redwoods State Park, and Jedediah Smith State Park, which amounts to 50,000 acres of spectacular natural resources. It is desirable for the incumbent to be self-motivated, able to work independently, possess leadership and organizational skills, as well as journey level skills in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, and also, skills related to purchasing practices, project planning, and CAMP. The incumbents schedule will be Tuesday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. State housing may available.
