Under the general direction of the Supervising Tax Auditor I, the Associate Tax Auditor conducts the more difficult and complex audits and serves as lead over lower level Tax Auditors. The incumbent make audit appointments; meets with taxpayers and their representatives; explains the audit findings; prepared appropriate audit reports and written correspondence to taxpayers. Meeting the job requirement for this position may require overnight travel of one or more days. The position is located in a high-rise building. A LEAP Certification List will be utilized. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.

1. Describe your experience in the use of electronic downloads of records and the CAS. Describe your experience in the use of Statistical Sampling.
2. Describe your experiences, if any, in training an auditor. Describe the areas that you covered that were most important. If you have not trained an auditor, describe the areas you believe are most important in training a new auditor. Are you willing to train a new auditor?
3. Describe your experience in public speaking. Include tax seminars given, industry talks, staff meeting subjects, classes taught etc.
