Under the direction of the Manager, Headquarters Facilities & Support Services Section, and with guidance from a Staff Services Manager I (Specialist) the incumbent performs independent analytical work and administrative support relating to the Headquarters and remote office pool vehicle fleet, parking permit and garage coordination. The position is responsible for the effective management of vehicle services, maintenance and reservation scheduling of the Board of Equalization’s (BOE) 25 pool vehicles available for use by BOE employees. The position is also responsible for independently maintaining the BOE parking permit program and garage coordination. The incumbent must exercise a high degree of initiative and independence, must have the ability to work with all levels of staff and have well-developed analytical and communication skills, both written and oral. Prior related experience, excellent organizational skills, and an exceptional customer service demeanor are essential. This position requires the possession of a valid California Driver License. Training and development assignments may be considered. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
