The Board of Equalization is looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual with extensive technical and management experience for our Enterprise Architecture Office within the Technology Services Department.
The incumbent provides the leadership, direction and coordination of work activities and resources for the Enterprise Architecture Office. The incumbent demonstrates knowledge of team leadership principles and practices and is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the work of various staff and projects consisting of Enterprise Architecture Services, Requirement Elicitation and Consulting Services. Enterprise Architecture Services responsibilities include providing the organization with an Enterprise Architecture (EA) used to manage and align an organization's Information Technology (IT) assets, people, operations, and projects. In addition, Enterprise Architecture Services has overall responsibility to ensure that Information Technology (IT) investments conform to the principles, policies, practices, processes and standards embodied within BOE's EA. Requirement Elicitation and Consulting Services is a critical function to ensure enterprise projects identify a clear project scope, which includes identifying the requirements of the product the project will create.
The incumbent must possess excellent managerial and interpersonal skills as well as have advanced knowledge of Information Technology trends and practices. The incumbent will also maintain an active staff development program to provide employees with the opportunity for growth and to ensure trained staff is available for projects.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Experience managing large highly complex automation projects. Possess strong communication and leadership skills for working with diverse teams is also highly desirable.
