Job Description:
Under the close supervision of the Supervisor of the Allocation Group, the Tax Auditor is responsible for analyzing and processing local tax inquiries received from local jurisdictions and consultants. This will include correspondence or telephone contacts with taxpayers, Board district offices, representatives of local jurisdictions and their consultants. It is the auditor’s responsibility to insure the inquiries are timely investigated and resolved. Knowledge of the Cash Receipts system is also required since the auditor makes on-line adjustments to local tax allocations. The position is located in a high-rise building. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
