This is a two year limited term position which may become permanent if funding is approved and/or workload is permanently established. Under the general direction of the Senior Administrative Analyst (Accounting Systems), the Systems Software Specialist II serves as the Board’s highest level technical expert in the design and maintenance of BOE’s Financial Management System, backup system server functions, system interfaces and multiple subsystem databases. Supports the work of the employees in the Financial Management Division. The incumbent performs a wide range of the most complex consultative, analytical and evaluative assignments in order to maintain, monitor, troubleshoot and support the BOE’s Financial Management infrastructure and related components. Serves as a Lead Person for the Section and performs some of the responsibilities of the Section Manager. Duties include working both in a leadership capacity on the most complex financial management system projects, and independently serves as the expert technical resource for the systems. Performs other duties as required. The position is located in a high-rise building. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted.
