Title: SUPERVISING TAX AUDITOR II BOARD OF EQUALIZATION Salary: $5,573.00 - $7,326.00 Posted: 12/16/2013
Under the direction of the District Principal Auditor, the Supervising Tax Auditor II (STA II) leads a crew composed of Senior Tax Auditors conducting the most difficult audits within the district relating to the various taxes administered by the Board of Equalization in a field office. The STA II plans, assigns and evaluates the work performed by these auditors; plans the allocation of resources. The STA II coordinates multiple auditors from various audit crews to form a team to be assigned to the more complex audits, supervises the team, and holds regular staff meetings with each audit team. The STA II may act for the DPA, may also serve as District Audit Selector, and handle special projects as needed. More than one position may be available. Meeting the training requirements for this job may require overnight travel for more than five consecutive nights. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted.
