Job Description:
Under the close supervision, of the Business Taxes Administrator I, the Business Tax Representative (BTR) will check for fuel permits and take compliance actions which may include issuing permits, assessing penalties, collecting delinquent accounts, obtaining tax returns and developing leads for other tax programs administered by the Board. This position is headquartered at the California Department Food and Agriculture (CDFA), headquartered in Blythe, CA. The position requires up to 35% travel to “other” CDFA and California Highway Patrol inspection facilities to conduct the duties above and may include overnight travel. Limited Term positions have possibilities of becoming permanent. Interested candidates must meet educational requirements. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
