Job Description:

The reporting location for this position is One Capitol Mall in Sacramento. This position will work under the direction of the Chief, Division of Boating and Waterways. This position acts as a liaison between the Division and Parks administrative functions including legislation, budgets, personnel and business services; develops regulatory materials consistent with State requirements; researches and reviews policy-related issues; develops policy guidance and interpretations; responds to policy related questions from Division and Department employees as well as external parties; reviews and analyzes local ordinances and regulations for conformance with state and federal boating law.
