Under the administrative direction of the Data Processing Manager III, INC Technology Section, the incumbent functions with little direction as the Supervisor of the INC Development and Production Support Team. The SSS III Supervisor provides leadership and technical direction to staff members who are using various technologies, including IBM mainframe components, IBM JAVA components on AIX servers, Websphere Application Server and MQ communication services. The incumbent has responsibility for multi-disciplinary research, planning and evaluation of a critical and complex application as well as evaluating data issues and solutions. The incumbent works directly with the Section’s Data Processing Manager III which will include assigning, monitoring and evaluating assignments, providing performance reviews and delivering status reports. All duties are performed within the framework of the department’s mission and values. Emphasis is placed on providing excellent service to our customers.

Current state employees with status in the above classification or lateral transfers from an equivalent class, former state employees who can reinstate into this class or persons who are reachable on a current employment list for this classification.
