Job Description:
The Staff Services Analyst (General) (SSA) / Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) will review and analyze dismissal and bifurcation requests according to Division 22 Regulations. Prepare letters to the appropriate agency, claimant, and authorized representatives. Responsible for receiving and preparing subpoena requests in adequate legal form based on hearing party’s requests. Assure subpoenas are released in a timely manner. Research and resolve issues relating to the hearing process, monitor fluctuations, review return calendars, and determine what percentage of hearings are being heard, withdrawn, etc in workload and backlogs involving county and regional offices. Establish methods to gather and analyze data and prepare monthly reports to track the hearing process and workload of Administrative Law Judges. Evaluate and review proposed legislations and regulations, and provide management with recommendations on policy and program issues. Attend various meetings with stakeholders, counties, and state agencies on behalf of the State Hearings Division.
