The reporting location for this position is Heber Dunes State Vehicle Recreation Area in Holtville. The park is 340 acres of unique desert environment with many challenges. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, creative leadership, and strong organizational skills. The incumbent will perform skilled and semi-skilled duties necessary to maintain all aspects of the park. Duties will include maintenance, construction and repair of facilities and equipment, acting as a lead person for volunteers and seasonal staff, working with CAMP/ Maximo, and purchasing. The incumbents schedule will be Tuesday to Saturday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Work schedule may change due to operational needs. This position requires a Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s License. This position is subject to the Federal Drug and Alcohol Testing Program. This position also requires a Water Treatment License T1 or higher. Please provide proof of eligibility with application.
