The reporting location for this position is the Gold Fields District Headquarters in Folsom. This position will work under the direction of the Administrative Officer III. Duties include data entry to the Department’s computerized budget/expenditure program, posting, distributing and filing of various documents, typing reports, faxing and photocopying. The incumbent will maintain complex personnel records; prepare and process a wide variety of personnel documents; track and reconcile all hourly employee leave balances, process hourly time sheets (DPR 921s) and submit to HQ Personnel. The incumbent will also be responsible for the preparation and processing of the Report of Collections for deposits relative to concessions, seasonal housing rent and contingent fund donations. Provide assistance to the Contracts Administrator with the preparation of bid booklets and bid openings. This position may, on occasion, perform general reception duties such as, answering phones and assisting the general public. The successful candidate should possess a strong skill set in verbal and written communication along with the ability to organize and prioritize work assignments. Experience with various programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Access is highly desirable.
