JOB DESCRIPTION :
Under the general direction of the Production Services Manager and the Director, Television Communications Center; the Audio-Visual Assistant provides audio-visual support at a variety of events and executive meetings. The Audio-Visual Assistant works directly with event organizers to assist in identifying the optimal audio-visual setup for each event, and operates a wide variety of audio-visual equipment during events. The Audio-Visual Assistant also serves as the primary contact for video conferencing assistance in several shared conference rooms.

Current state employees with status in the above classification or lateral transfers from an equivalent class, former state employees who can reinstate into this class or persons who are reachable on a current employment list for this classification. A training and development assignment (T & D) may also be considered. All appointments are subject to SROA/Surplus hiring provisions.
