‘Mobile Work Position’. Under the general direction of the Supervising Tax Auditor I, the Associate Tax Auditor conducts the more difficult and complex audits and serves as lead over lower level Tax Auditors. The incumbent makes audit appointments; meets with taxpayers and their representatives; explains the audit findings; prepares appropriate audit reports and written correspondence to taxpayers. Meeting the training requirements for this position may require overnight travel for up to five consecutive nights. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
