Job Description:
Staff Services Analyst is assigned tasks of average difficulty compared to the more difficult and complex tasks performed by the Associate Governmental Program Analyst.

Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) provides consultation to management and employees on varied difficult personnel specific matters, evaluates pay data, and prepares formal memoranda and reports on personnel related matters. The AGPA independently researches civil service laws, rules and regulations, and counsels employees and management on the application of these rules. Leads and trains clerical staff on personnel record-keeping and office operations. In coordination with management, the AGPA facilitates the recruitment and selection of employees. Represents the Board of Parole Hearings’ personnel office at meetings with management and headquarters.
