Job Description:
Under the close supervision of the Business Taxes Administrator I, the Business Taxes Representative is responsible for working lower dollar closed out corporate collection accounts to determine if the corporate officers or responsible parties can be held liable, effecting collection, and for recommending for discharge those accounts that are not collectable. The incumbent, informs the supervisor of complex and/or sensitive issues on assigned cases. The accounts are worked from the office by telephone and mail using an inside collection program. Work is performed by use of a personal computer in accessing the individual’s caseload. Actions taken are initiated and recorded on the personal computer, as are the case notes. More than one position may be available. Interested candidates must meet educational requirements. The position is located in a high-rise building. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
