The reporting location for this position is in the District Office at Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park located in the town of Felton. This position will work under the direction of the Administrative Officer II. This position is assigned to the Fiscal Services Section and is responsible for managing and compiling expenditure data for all budgetary allotments; produces separate monthly budget expenditure reports for three sectors, a Public Safety Office and a master report for the District; audits and processes PAPOs, CalCard and Petty Cash Reimbursement Requests; responsible for tracking expenditures and requirements for approximately 50 complex PCAs. The incumbent will input into Fiscal Tracking as a matter of routine, monitor contract payments and encumbrances, assist with Calaters travel claim process and provides guidance, technical instruction and assistance to all District staff regarding accounting matters. The District seeks an incumbent who possesses computer skills and who likes to perform a variety of tasks. State housing is not available.
