Job Description:
Under the administrative direction of the Chief, Investigations and Special Operations Division (ISOD), the Business Taxes Administrator (BTA) III functions as the BOE’s top advisor to the Chief in directing and managing tax administration matters of the Tax Revenue and Criminal Enforcement (TRaCE) Task Force. The BTA III assists the TRaCE Task Force Executive Board Chairperson in managing a highly responsive investigative and prosecutorial team of BOE, Franchise Tax Board and Department of Justice staff. The BTA III regularly acts on behalf of the Chief regarding the TRaCE Task Force and works with TRaCE Executive Board to develop and implement policies, procedures and practices for the TRaCE pilot program. The position is located in a high-rise building. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
