Under the supervision of the Office Services Supervisor II, the incumbent for this position will compile, maintain, manage and log accounts receivable data and activities, provide secretarial support to professional staff. The incumbent will use a variety of computer software for the extraction of reports, answer telephone inquiries from the public and field personnel as to the status of records, audit submitted records for accuracy, and work closely with Regional Supervisors.
The Office Technician must deal tactfully and professionally with the public, in person, and by telephone; maintain a high level of discretion, use good judgment, initiative, and independent action while performing a variety of difficult and complex office support functions. The incumbent must have excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, typing, numerical, and grammar skills, ability to work independently, multi-task, meet deadlines, establish and maintain cooperative relations with those contacted.
Possession of a typing certificate is required.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS :
Proficient with computer software and database.
