The reporting location for this position is the District Office located in Old Sacramento. This position will work under the direction of the Park Maintenance Chief III. This position directs the maintenance and housekeeping programs for the Capital District. Prepares and monitors work schedules, work assignments, in addition must be knowledgeable with C.A.M.P. and Cal-Card oversight. Assists District Maintenance Chief in preparing equipment, maintenance, roads, special programs and other budgetary programs. Maintains District fleet program, and procures, materials, tools and supplies necessary to maintain facilities. Inspects facilities and keeps maintenance and equipment usage reports current. Ensures staff is trained to perform housekeeping duties to appropriate outlined standards. Work with staff to purchase adequate housekeeping supplies and train personnel in proper use and storage. Coordinates the cleaning of displays, artifacts and exhibits with curatorial staff. This position requires a valid Class C California Driver’s License.
