Under the close supervision of the Business Taxes Administrator I, the Business Taxes Representative works collection and use tax cases of moderate difficulty as well as the moderately difficult claims of exemption. The BTR must keep the supervisor informed of complex issues on assigned cases. The accounts are worked from the office by telephone and mail. Work is performed by use of a personal computer in accessing the individual's caseload. Actions taken are initiated and recorded on the personal computer, as are the case notes. Meeting the training requirements for this position may require overnight travel for up to five consecutive nights. Candidate must be able to perform the essential job functions (*) with or without reasonable accommodations. Candidate should submit a copy of their unofficial transcripts with their application. More than one position may be available. Interested candidates must meet educational requirements. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted.
