The reporting location for this position is the Ranger Office at District Headquarters in San Clemente State Beach. This position will work under the direction of the State Park Peace Officer Supervisor (Ranger). This position is assigned to the San Clemente and San Onofre State Beaches and visitor services operations team. This position is typically a night shift position on a 5/8 schedule. The duties of this position include: patrol for the protection of visitors, employees, and park resources, interpretation, and public assistance. This position will be a lead person providing leadership and guidance for seasonal personnel, camp hosts, and volunteers. This position offers many opportunities for the self-motivated person to make a lasting impact. This position is pending Executive Personnel Review Committee approval. State housing is not available.
