The mission of the Office of Information Services (OIS) is to leverage the most effective information technologies available to achieve ARB’s program goals.
The IT Operations Section within the IT Operations & Support Branch is responsible for providing support for Mobile Computing, Enterprise Services, Central Communications, Asset Management, and IT Procurements and Reporting.
This position supports a variety of information technology administrative activities, including but not limited to, supporting a variety of documentation, IT staffing and human resources coordination with ARB's Administrative Services Division (ASD), IT purchasing and procurements, IT reporting and IT budget planning.
This is a permanent intermittent position, that would work 5 days a week 8:30-3:00 or 3:30, up to a maximum of 1500 hours per calendar year.
The successful candidate should have strong customer service skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills. The candidate should demonstrate knowledge of information technology and the state's directions in the administration and oversight of IT including: Project Management, OCIO initiatives and reporting requirements, IT Procurement, IT Budgets, and control agency responsibilities and policies. The successful candidate should possess the skills to develop and present written and verbal reports to policy makers; and the ability to work effectively with customers, management, vendors, Office of Information Technology, OCIO, and other governmental agencies.
