The Secretary of State, Political Reform Division, is seeking a full-time permanent Staff Services Analyst. The hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The agency is located in downtown Sacramento near Light Rail, Downtown Plaza, and other amenities.
DUTIES: Under the general direction of the Political Reform Program Administrator, the incumbent is responsible for administering liability assessment and waiver request determination and processing activities; assisting in Division special projects; and other duties as required.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: A successful candidate should accurately research and analyze data; properly apply laws, rules, policies, and procedures to the position functions; be highly detailed and accurate; interact effectively with the public and staff; demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills; work independently; demonstrate initiative; possess good organizational skills; meet deadlines; follow intricate and precise program requirements, and recommend creative problem solutions.
