Job Description:
Under close supervision of a Business Taxes Administrator I (Tax Compliance Supervisor), the Business Taxes Representative locates and contacts individuals and representatives of organizations either by telephone, by mail, or in person to obtain information and to ensure compliance with the provisions of the International Fuel Tax Agreement (IFTA), the Diesel Fuel Tax Law, and Use Fuel Tax Law administered by the Board of Equalization. The Business Taxes Representative, Range A and B, performs the less difficult tasks, and the Business Taxes Representative, Range C, performs the more complicated tasks assigned. In state travel outside of the office, of up to 10% travel. Interested candidates must meet the educational requirements. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted. All applicants will be considered; however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority
