Job Description:
Under general direction, the Tax Technician III Cashier performs the full range of cashiering duties and is responsible for the overall operation of a district/branch cashier’s office as well as the most difficult and complex technical duties. This includes, but is not limited to, processing, verifying and balancing all monies received, preparing transmittal documents, headquarters transmittals and bank deposits. Responsible for controlling press numbered accountable forms and maintains the keeper warrant log. Meeting the training requirements for this job may require overnight travel for up to five consecutive nights. The incumbent will receive an additional $100.00 per month pay differential. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted. All applicants will be considered; however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
