Job Description:
'Due to Departmental hiring restrictions, only EDD employees will be considered.'

Under the direction of the Section Manager, the incumbent ensures that Region 1 staff carry out Department, Branch, and Division policies relative to Workforce Investment Act (WIA), Wagner-Peyser (WP) and other workforce programs and activities performed by State and local entities.

The incumbent promotes the administration of workforce programs and provides technical assistance and effective oversight to workforce projects and timely and effective technical assistance to Local Workforce Investment Areas, Area Administrators, Worforce Services managers, other partner agencies, and local grantees.
