Job Description:
Under the general direction of the Business Taxes Administrator II, the Associate Tax Auditor (ATA) is responsible to independently research and respond to complicated inquires relating to the special taxes and fees programs. Duties will include analyzing, drafting, and making recommendations to management for developing policy and procedures as they relate to the administration of the various tax and fee programs administered by the Special Taxes Policy and Compliance Division, prepare and analyze various reports as requested by Division and BOE management and other Departments, and assist in training new employees or developing training material. In addition, the ATA is responsible for completing assignments of the more complex nature as requested by supervisors and management. *Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
