Job Description:

Under the close supervision of the Business Taxes Administrator I, the Tax Technician I performs the less difficult and complex technical work associated with registration, account maintenance, and close-outs. Answers incoming telephone calls and registers taxpayers under the tax programs administered by the Special Taxes Policy and Compliance Division (STPCD). The incumbent may learn and perform duties in more varied and complex program areas. The incumbent will receive $100.00 additional compensation each month for public contact through the telephone per Pay Differential 186. This position is located in a high rise building. All applicants will be considered; however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
