The reporting location for this position is Old Sacramento State Historic Park. This position will work under the direction of the District Superintendent. The Administrative Officer III functions as the District Administrative Chief. The incumbent will be responsible for managing the efficient delivery of core administrative/staff services programs, and supervises all components including: personnel, accounting, contracting, concessions, budgeting, and general clerical functions within the District. Desired Qualifications: excellent analytical ability, customer service and ability to effectively communicate (writing and orally) are essential, as well as ability to interact with staff at all levels including park visitors. Candidate should have a grasp for details in the areas of contracting, purchasing, budgeting and personnel. This position is a District core staff member and will work closely with the District Superintendent, Sector Superintendents/Managers, and District Services Manager/Park Maintenance Chief.
