JOB DESCRIPTION :
Under the general direction of the Data Program Manager II and business area leads, the student assistant will support the IT Hardware Asset Management Unit with the inventory and warehousing of departmental IT equipment. These duties may include pulling equipment, updating inventory database, and staging equipment for pick-up and deployment. Duties may also include physical verification of equipment throughout the central office campus, scanning equipment inventory bar codes and updating the departmental inventory data base as well as various other tasks performed to support the unit/section.

Must be a college student enrolled in classes during the regular term (Fall, Spring and Winter, if applicable), at an accredited college or university and carrying a minimum of six semester units (or nine quarter units for undergraduate students), with a grade point average of 2.0 or higher.
Employment is restricted to students who are enrolled or have been enrolled in curriculum relating to Information Technology. Students majoring in Information Technology or equivalent are encouraged to apply.
