JOB DESCRIPTION :
Under the general direction of the unit manager for the Service Operations Unit, within the Technical Operations Section of the Operations Management Bureau, the incumbent functions as the process owner of the IT Request Fulfillment Process. The incumbent serves as the technical specialist performing complex analytical studies and activities for the success and quality of the development and implementation of this Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) process that supports the Enterprise Data to Revenue (EDR) project and FTB. The incumbent plans and defines the goals, objectives, processes, procedures, and training curriculum, and is responsible for the process that manages the lifecycle of all IT requests. As the IT Request Fulfillment Owner, the incumbent is responsible for: 1) Reengineering the current Request processes and procedures; 2) Formulating a comprehensive enterprise IT Request Fulfillment catalogue; 3) Expanding Request Fulfillment responsibilities to include first level support for EDR.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES :

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS :
ITIL Foundation Certified.
Familiar with IT Service Management and ITIL concepts, including Request Fulfillment processes.
Experience with Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Experience using CA Service Desk or IBM Rational Clearquest.
Ability to lead teams and facilitate meetings.
Ability to implement new processes and procedures.
Ability to work with management and/or peers to set or apply technical direction.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
