The incumbent is responsible for providing leadership and management of the Enterprise Systems & Infrastructure Division which consists of two sections – the Enterprise Systems Analysis and Support Section and the Network Support Section, of the Technology Services Department. In addition to the management and delivery of operational services, the incumbent is responsible for strategic planning, innovations and technology modernization, supporting organizational development activities, leading process maturity, including ITIL framework and best practices. The incumbent is responsible for workforce development and training, policy development, technical implementation, information security management, enterprise database platforms and systems, testing and systems support as they relate to the BOE’s information technology architecture. The incumbent must have a strong command of information technology concepts, principles, practices, methods, and tools; a strong command of project management methods, tools and practices; a strong command of operational performance measures and maturity standards; a strong command of IT governance, workload, resource and capacity planning in order to support the BOE business objectives workload and priorities. The incumbent must have a command of current technology trends, including big data infrastructure, cloud computing, mobile computing and shared services practices. The incumbent should have a knowledge and/or experience of state Data Center services, and operational and service level agreements. The incumbent must have a command of vendor management, contract and procurement of technology assets. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
