The reporting location for this position is at Headquarters in Sacramento. This position will work under the general supervision of the Assistant Personnel Officer, Staff Services Manager II. This position is responsible for the supervision, guidance, and training for staff who are responsible for the Department’s Selection Services Program and Certification Unit.
The Staff Services Manager I will advise and consult with Personnel Leadership concerning issues of policy impact and reports significant data and issues for, selection, examination, and certification issues; and development and upkeep of the Department’s exam plan. This position provides data, statistics and reports to upper management on a variety of examination and certification issues.
