Job Description:

The reporting location for this position is at Headquarters in Sacramento. This position will work under the direction of the Accounting Administrator I. This position will perform professional level accounting duties, having contact with control agencies, program staff and budget staff. Post journal entries and receipts to CALSTARS for the Federal Trust Fund, Recreational Trains Fund and State Parks Contingent Fund. Reconcile assigned funds monthly and prepare Year End Financial Statements. The General Ledger Unit is responsible for over 30 funding sources including General Fund, Federal Funds, Bond Funds and Special Funds.

Desirable Qualifications: Knowledge of CALSTARS, PC experience in MS Word and MS Excel.
