The reporting location for this position is at Headquarters in Sacramento. This position will work under the direction of the Accounting Administrator I. The Accountant I will perform the following duties in the Accounts Payable Unit: Audit and process Cal Card Statements, Contracts, Purchase orders and Miscellaneous Invoices; Prepare and assemble invoices and statements into claim schedules for input into CALSTARS; Respond to inquiries from Districts or Vendors regarding payment status; Reconcile balances on CALSTARS against assigned District/Division's encumbrance reports. State housing is not available. This position is pending Executive Personnel Review Committee approval.
