The reporting location for this position is Headquarters in Sacramento. This position will work under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I, Contract Services Unit.
The Business Management Services Section has one (1) permanent, full-time Contract Analyst position open for an exciting opportunity for an individual who has excellent analytical, interpersonal, computer (Microsoft programs), organizational, and writing skills. This position performs technical and complex duties to implement and maintain the Department's Small Business and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise action plans. This position also works with employees at all levels in the Department in preparing, analyzing, auditing and reviewing a wide variety of service, consulting, public works and other types of contracts.
•Knowledge and experience in California State contracts, regulations, and administration.
•Knowledge of California State mandates and objectives of Small Business and Disabled Veteran Business Enterprises.
•Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities.
•Ability to and work well with others.
•Ability to work effectively and efficiently under demanding time pressure.
This position may require minimal in-state travel, on short notice.
