Under the general guidance of the District Administrator, the Business Taxes Specialist II reviews the most difficult and complex audits, typically consisting of the largest industrial corporations; provides technical guidance to audit staff; and assists on various special projects. May perform lead auditor duties and other job-related functions as necessary. This position may rotate into a field audit BTS II position. Meeting the training requirements for this position may require overnight travel for up to five consecutive nights. Candidate must be able to perform the essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
Multiple positions may be filled. Positions will be located in either Sacramento, New York and/or Chicago. Travel required 10% of the time. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
