Job Description:
Under the direction of the Motor Carrier Office Administrator, the Supervising Tax Auditor II is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating on a statewide basis the policies, programs and procedures relating to the International Fuel Tax Agreement Program, the Interstate User Diesel Fuel Program, the Diesel Exempt Bus Operator Program, the Use Fuel Tax Program, and the Government Entity Diesel Tax Program. This position is responsible for planning, directing, organizing and overseeing the section audit program through subordinate supervisors. Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations. Travel required 25% of the time. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
