Under the general direction of the Program Services Section Chief (DESA I), the Procedural Development Analyst analyzes and interprets federal directives and regulations, develops operational procedures, and serves as Division liaison to the Social Security Administration and other agencies regarding operational matters. The Analyst may be involved in budget development, budgetary reporting and/or coordinating the medical service, training and operations function in the Division. Analyzes and/or investigates public inquiries, responds to VIP correspondence and perform special studies at management's request.
This position may require fingerprint clearance. Criminal record checks of prospective full- or part-time CDSS, Disability Determination Service Division (DDSD) personnel may be conducted. Applicants for this position may be required to submit fingerprints to the Department of Justice and be cleared before hiring. (5 CFR 731.202 and 20 CFR 404.1620)
