Job Description:

The reporting location for this position is the San Buenaventura State Beach Maintenance Shop. Duties for this position include clearing debris, maintaining public beaches, removing all water hazards from tide lines, placement of lifeguard towers, fire and flood control, making berms, maintaining fire roads and trails, transporting equipment, grading dirt roads, equipment maintenance and BIT inspections. The incumbent’s work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. This class requires a Class A driver’s license and medical certification. Please provide proof of eligibility with application. This position will be subject to the Federal Drug and Alcohol Testing Program. State housing is not available.
