Job Description:
The reporting location for this position is the Sector Office at Prairie City State Vehicular Recreation Area. This position will work under the direction of the Sector Superintendent. The primary duties of this position are the inventory, data management, monitoring, and mapping of park natural resources. The Environmental Services Intern will assist Sector staff in project review to ensure compliance with environmental laws and permitting needs. Coordination and implementation of resource management programs and projects, including the monitoring, evaluation and protection of natural and cultural resources, assisting with the planning of park management activities and preparation and review of environmental and regulatory documents. This is a seasonal position and will be limited to 9 months of full-time work. State housing is not available. For further information regarding this position, please contact Sarah C.
