Under general direction and with very little day-to-day supervision, the Tax Technician III serves as the expert staff resource and performs the most difficult and complex technical compliance duties. Meeting the training requirements for this job may require overnight travel for up to five consecutive nights. The incumbent will receive an additional $100.00 per month pay differential. The position requires the incumbent to be fingerprinted. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority.
