The Outreach Services Division has an opportunity for someone who has a strong work ethic and enjoys the challenges of developing and executing educational outreach and marketing plans on multiple projects with tight deadlines. Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager III (SSM III) for the Outreach Services Division, the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) will be asked to bring a positive, creative, and flexible approach to problem solving, independently conduct research and analysis, evaluate materials, develop alternatives and make recommendations to management on the creation of a comprehensive media program to educate our internal and external customers on the Centralized Revenue Opportunity System (CROS) project. The CROS project will replace the Board of Equalization’s (BOE) two existing legacy systems and develop an enterprise data warehouse. The proposed system will provide an integrated and automated solution that will use up-to-date tax collection, storage, account management, and data retrieval technologies to maximize the effectiveness of BOE‘s operations and staff. CROS will provide efficiencies to businesses by reducing the time and effort needed to interact with the BOE. The analyst must exercise a high degree of initiative and good judgment; develop logical and effective solutions to managerial and administration problems; effectively plan and execute multiple projects simultaneously and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. All applicants will be considered however, SROA/Surplus will be given priority. Travel required 5% of the time. Must be willing to work in a high rise building.
