The Business Programs Division is recruiting to fill a permanent, full-time, Office Technician (Typing) in the Business Entities Resources and Fulfillment Section.
The Duties: Responsible for the scheduling and tracking of the division’s recruitment activities. Provide support and assist section analysts with recruitment tasks. Process and maintain attendance and other related personnel records. Answer, screen and route telephone calls received for the Manager, Analysts, and other administrative staff. Prepare, process and track work orders, contract, repair, maintenance, and training requests. Prepare supply and equipment orders and maintain inventories of supplies and equipment needed to ensure efficient operations. Make travel arrangements and prepare expense claims. Act as liaison with Human Resources, Information Technology Division and Business Services, as needed. Provide general administrative support to the Business Entities Resources and Fulfillment Section.
Desirable Qualifications: The Business Entities Resources and Fulfillment Section is seeking a flexible and energetic person with strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with all levels of agency staff and the public; the ability to meet deadlines, take initiative, work independently and serve on teams. Punctuality and good attendance are essential. Knowledge of and experience with all Microsoft Office applications and basic knowledge of computer equipment and operations is also desired.
Who May Apply: Applicants must have current transfer or list eligibility for permanent, full-time appointment to the Office Technician (Typing) classification. All appointments are subject to State Restriction of Appointment (SROA) provisions. Only the most qualified candidates will be interviewed.
