Duties Under general direction of the Data Processing Manager II, and under the guidance of the Senior Information Systems Analyst, the Staff Information Systems Analyst will be responsible for leading requirements gathering, generating logical system designs, data analysis, and testing complex technical solutions. Elicit, gather, analyze and document business needs, processes, functional and non-functional requirements for the more complex software applications; develop detailed test scripts and coordinate and execute the final customer acceptance testing to verify the desired functionality of software before it is put into production; develop storyboards, activity diagrams, data flows, use cases and other diagrams that accurately represent all findings and communicate these concepts and ideas to business and technical decision groups at all levels; collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs; assist in the development of user training and training materials for new software applications; liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams
Desirable Qualifications Applicants for this position should be able to demonstrate: Effective written and verbal communication skills. Experience writing detailed test plans and procedures. Have a working knowledge of the tools used to elicit and document business requirements such as context diagrams, process flows, Entity Relationship Diagrams and workflow storyboards. Strong customer service and customer support principles. Ability to work independently and with others to identify problems and seek improvements in current work processes. Familiarity with Data Warehouse / Business Intelligence systems.
